Week Five – (RO)BOTS (*-*)

this week in lesson we looked into the first bot created ELIZA. we downloaded her data and coded ELIZA to have a different personality as the attributes she was made with could very offensive to women as she was a vey submissive and attentive as many chatbots are with a female gender.

I didn’t get to finish the code but I did end up changing some of her responses and made her seem like she was taking back her power in a very rude nature .

I don’t think I interact with bots on a day to day basis but I could be completely wrong as there are bots that interact with us without us knowing. the last bot I remember interacting with was to sort out my phone plan by voxi .

considering that more then half of the internet traffic is made up of bots means that bots are used in many cases such as data bots scanning specific data types for certain information and many more.
